Crystal Jiang won the Liu Memorial award; a scholarship for good academic performance.

Tony Liao recently returned from his tour of Japan as a member of the USA International Debate Team (featured in March 09 newsletter). The universities toured included the following: Tokai University, Kyushu University, Kitakyushu University, Ehime University, Chuo University, Rikkyo/St. Paul University, and Sophia University, as well as some high schools and business federations. Dmitry Epstein received a fellowship from Information + Innovation Policy Research Centre at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, to spend the fall semester there as a research fellow. He will be working there on analysis of the Internet Governance Forum and on his dissertation.
